Ellipse is a student run publication that aspires to link readers to the possibilities of the future.
Our team is worked during the fall 2018 semester to create a print + digital magazine to bring awareness to topics central to our experience of humanity, technology, and culture.
My role as a digital producer allowed me to explore these topics through animation.
In collaboration with Candace Grimes, The Gender Continuum also made the final cut into the 2018 print edition of Ellipse. Using imagery found from copyright free sources we were able to create a spread that questioned if the strict categories we view gender in will soon be a thing of the past.
The fastest culture was an article I pitched and designed. With the help of the incredible photographer Evan McClellan and concept assistence from Joel Beckwith, we were able to articulate the newest generation's rapidly declining attention span in a visual way.
Before Ellipse's launch party we kept our audience excited and engaged with animated countdown posts that I lead.
